Abu Dhabi Airports Company appoints new chief executive
James Bennett will take over the role on 1 June
Abu Dhabi Airports Company (Adac) has appointed James Bennett as its new chief executive officer.
Bennett will take over the role on 1 June from acting chief executive John Stent.
Bennett was previously president and chief executive of the US’ Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority since 2003. This involved overseeing operations of Ronald Reagan Washington National airport, Washington Dulles International airport and the Dulles toll road.
Bennett will also become chairman of the American Association of Airport Executives in May 2010.
