Beirut set to be one of the first destinations in the Middle East to have direct flights to Berlin's new airport. Lufthansa's Berlin fleet is set to grow from nine to 15 aircraft, seating capacity increased by over 40%, capital expenditure of more than EUR60m at BER Airport. Expansion will create several hundred new jobs in the region; Lufthansa to christen next A380 'Berlin'.
