Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has secured orders worth more than $1bn during the Dubai Air Show, demonstrating the strength of its portfolio of advanced technology and access to growing global markets. The Trent 700, which has the best performance, lowest emissions and least noise on the Airbus A330 aircraft, continued to win orders and passed another important milestone with delivery of the 1000th Trent 700 engine, to Cathay Pacific Airways.
