GulfNav to buy chemical tankers with Stolt-Nielsen
Dubai-based Gulf Navigation Holding has signed an agreement with its partner Stolt-Nielsen (SNSA) to buy four 44,000 deadweight tonne modern chemical carriers. Two of the newly built tankers will be delivered promptly, while the remaining two are being finalized at SLS ship yard in South Korea. The 4 vessels have an overall deadweight of 176,000 metric tonnes, and will have the capability of carrying a broad range of petrochemical products. The four ships will be financed by Deutsche Bank, Nordea and Danske Bank.
