Three in race for Algiers metro
A group led by Germany's Dywidag Internationalhas submitted the low bid at AD 14,600 million ($177 million) for the contract to build a new section of the Algiers metro. According to the bid opening prices announced by the client - Entreprise Metro d'Algiers (EMA)- on 26 April, Dywidag's price is some 10 per cent below that of the next lowest bidder, a group led by Razelof France.
