Emirates flies its first A380 back from Germany to Dubai today, taking off at 11am UAE time. It arrives in Dubai around 5pm. It then makes its first commercial flight a few days later, flying to New York on 1st August. This is the first of 58 A380s on order, with the second due to be delivered late September. One of three configurations bought by Emirates, the first flight has seats for 489 passengers. AME Info's broadcast team is on the delivery flight from Germany, and will be reporting live from the plane at various stages of the journey.
