The Chairman and CEO of Emirates, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, said today that he plans to increase the number of flights the airline currently makes to Germany. Speaking at the handover ceremony of the Airbus A380 in Hamburg, he told attendees that Emirates hopes to soon add Berlin and Stuttgart. He said also that the A380 was a greener aircraft, adding that on the routes it flies Emirates will save 500,000 litres of fuel per plane because of the efficiency of the engines.
