Venture will make equity investments in high-growth companies
- Abraaj forms partnership with Washington-based institutions for Latin America and Caribbean investments

Abraaj Group (Abraaj) has formed a partnership that will target investments in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Dubai-based private equity investor signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Washington-headquartered Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC).
The agreement involves the partners promoting private sector development and investment in Latin America and the Caribbean. Abraaj, IDB, and IIC will make equity investments in high-growth, medium-sized companies, and bring advisory and training services to Abraajs portfolio of companies across Latin America and the Caribbean.
