The greenfield float glass plant being built by Dubai Investment in Abu Dhabi is set to begin operations by the middle of this year.
Located at the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD), the $200m Emirates Float Glass plant will produce 600 tonnes a day of float glass products.
The plant will employ approximately 300 people and is expected to generate 1,000 additional jobs in related supplies and logistics industries during the first phase.
