Abu Dhabi has invited bids for the construction of its own branch of the Guggenheim museum as part of its drive to become a cultural tourism destination, Maktoob has reported. The Tourism Development and Investment Company has requested interested contractors who meet its criteria to ask for a pre-qualification document, in announcements published in local dailies.
