UAE capital has offered to buy Dubai’s stake in the exchange
Abu Dhabi is to buy a 20 per cent stake in the London Stock Exchange according to a report in the Sunday Times. Abu Dhabi has offered $1.5bn to Dubai to acquire its financial services industry which will include a merger of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange with Dubai International Financial Centre and Borse Dubai. Borse Dubai bought its stake in the London exchange in 2007.
