A majority of fines for failing to renew health insurance cards in Abu Dhabi have been waived by the health authority in the emirate, Gulf News has reported. A committee has approved the waiver of 80% of requests that have been reviewed on a case-by-case basis, Health Authority Abu Dhabi said. HAAD has given a grace period till the end of the year to renew insurance.
