A team of Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC)and the UK's Higgs & Hill was awarded on 17 October the main construction package for the Park Place residential tower on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed highway. Four other groups bid for the project.
A team of Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC)and the UK's Higgs & Hill was awarded on 17 October the main construction package for the Park Place residential tower on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed highway. Four other groups bid for the project. The contract, which is valued at AED 295 million ($80 million), covers sub- and superstructure works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and finishes for the tower. Once complete, the 60-storey tower will reach 240 metres and have a gross floor area of about 75,000 square metres. The local NSCChas completed the piling package. The project manager is Australia's Clifton Coney Stevens. The design architect is Cox Architecture, also of Australia. The client is a local investor (MEED 10:9:04).
