The revised EPC tender is expected to be issued in September and call for the construction of a slightly smaller LPG train than the 1 million-tonne-a-year version included in the original tender.

In the original tender, Chiyoda was the low bidder with a price of about $480 million. The other bidders were Italy’s Snamprogetti, Japan’s JGC Corporationand the UK’s Amec.
