Abu Dhabi Maintenance & Construction Company (Admac) has been awarded an AED119m ($32m) water network development contract on Abu Dhabi island.
The contract will see 11 kilometres of pipe measuring between 800mm and 1200mm between Mina Zayed and Muroor
The client is Abu Dhabi Transmission & Despatch Company, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority. The consultant is Kuwait-based Dr MH Ali El-Saie Consulting Engineers.
Work is scheduled to take 24 months.
In February, Admac won the AED723m ($197m) contract for the construction of sewerage works in Abu Dhabi.
US-based Parsons International is the consultant. Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) is the client (MEED 28:02:08).
