The 27-month deal covering operations in Afghanistan will yield revenue of $15m
Agility, the Kuwait-based logistics firm, has been awarded a 27-month contract in Afghanistan by the UK’s Defence Ministry.
Agility Defence & Government Services UK, a fully owned subsidiary of the Kuwaiti firm will collect, track, store and dispose non-military items and equipment used by UK forces in Afghanistan. Agility says the contract will yield revenue of $15m, in a statement posted on 26 August on the Dubai Financal Market website.
The contract will begin from September at Camp Bastion in Helmand province.
In April 2010, Dubai-based contracting company Anham replaced Agility as the supplier of food and services to the US military in the Gulf.
