Biography: Ahmad Al-Marri joined Union Properties (UP) in 2012 taking charge as general manager. Al-Marri who has a BSc in Economics & General Administration has over 28 years of experience across different industries and companies.

Al-Marri served 10 years in the Ministry of Finance as head of salaries department. He was also the finance and administration manager of Dubai Customs for 14 years, and has served as a managing director of Dubai Customs World for 4 years.

Al-Marri has been currently assigned as board member on the Supervisory Board of UP’s Subsidiaries, which includes Edara, a project management company; ServeU, the specialised facilities management service provider, as well as Thermo, a mechanical, electrical and plumbing contracting; The Fitout, an interior and fitout company and Dubai Autodrome, the region’s first fully integrated motorsports facility.

Through his market experience, Al-Marri plans to further contribute to the current development of Union Properties through overseeing its operations and aligning feasible strategies especially during the recession period.
