Budget airline hopes to return to Abu Dhabi in the future
Malaysia’s long-haul budget airline Air Asia X has stopped flights to Abu Dhabi from Kuala Lumpur, reports local English daily, The National.
The news comes only five months after the carrier, the long-haul arm of Air Asia, announced plans to establish Abu Dhabi as its base in the region for onward flights to Europe. The airline says that the move is temporary and that it hopes to return to Abu Dhabi in the future.
