Air Austral buys two A380s

Air Austral, the carrier based on the French-controlled Reunion island in the Indian ocean, has signed a deal for two Airbus A380 superjumbos at the Dubai Airshow today. The planes will be the first all-economy version of the airliner and will be configured to seat 840 passengers. The aircraft will be operated on the high-density route from Reunion to Paris, Airbus said.
