Air traffic grows in Arab world

The numbers of international passengers to, from and within the Arab world have seen a 4.9% growth in October 2009, compared to the same month of 2008, according to the Arab Air Carriers Organization. The number of seats offered by Arab airlines to, from, and within the Arab world have also seen an increase by 18.2%, while other airlines increased the number of seats offered by 16.5%, leading to 17.7% year-on-year increase in the total number of seats offered.
