Air traffic may pick up in 3rd quarter, says Airbus

22 February 2009

Airbus' Middle East president said he expects passenger traffic to pick up in the third or fourth quarter of this year and continue to grow in 2010. Speaking at an aviation conference organized by MEED, Habib Fekih said Airbus has not had any cancellations of orders since the economic downturn began, and does not expect any cancellations this year, but added that he 'does not have a crystal ball and you never know what can happen a few months from now.'
