Ajman and Solidere start work on Al-Zorah city

A ground-breaking ceremony has been held for the AED220bn ($60bn) Al-Zorah real estate development in Ajman that will be developed by a joint venture between the Ajman government and Lebanon’s Solidere International.

Located along Ajman’s beachfront and creek, Al-Zorah will be a self-contained, masterplanned city consisting of a variety of residential buildings, offices, shops, schools, hospitals and leisure facilities including marinas and a number of five-star resort hotels.

It will cover an area of 12 square kilometres, with a built-up area of 22 million square metres, and 16 kilometres of beachfront.
