Ajman reviews airport masterplan

The government of Ajman has reviewed the latest masterplan for the Ajman International Airport Project.

The airport will be built on six square kilometres of land in the Al-Manama area of the emirate and will be able to accommodate a variety of aircraft.

It will serve at least one million passengers a year and handle a minimum of 400,000 tonnes of cargo.

The project will be developed by the Spanish consortium Grupo Inmobiliario Whitelake.

Several residential and commercial properties will be developed alongside the airport.
