Local contractor will build fourth phase of shopping development
The local Al-Ahmadiah General Trading & Contracting has been awarded a KD114m ($391m) contract to build the fourth phase of the Avenues shopping mall in Kuwait.
Al-Ahmadiah was awarded the contract by the Al-Rai Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of the local real estate firm Mabanee.
The first phase of the Avenues mall development was opened in 2007 and currently contains more than 800 shops.
