Local contractor will provide MEP services on more than 100 projects
The local Al-Futtaim Engineering has been awarded a contract from Sharjah’s Public Works Ministry to provide mechanical engineering and plumbing (MEP) services on a number of public building projects in the emirate.
The Al-Futtaim group company will undertake MEP maintenance of 116 buildings, 11 museums and mosques in Sharjah. As part of the contract, Al-Futtaim will undertake training of Public Works Ministry staff.
“We are extremely happy to have Al-Futtaim Engineering partner with us to undertake this major project which will enhance the image of Sharjah,” said Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr al-Qassimi, chairman, Public Works Ministry, Sharjah.
