Muscat contractor wins deal from Petroleum Development Oman at Amal power station
Muscat-based Al-Hassan Engineering Company has won a contract to construct a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). The work covers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) on a HRSG at the back of PDO’s Amal power station gas turbine.
The contract is expected to be completed in 22 months, adding 6,000 tonnes a day (t/d) of steam capacity. Al-Hassan will also install high pressure feed water pumps, instrument air compressors and associated electrical equipment.
