Abu Dhabi's Al Jaber Engineering and Contracting is set take over the construction of a third concourse at Dubai International Airport, The National has reported. The Dhs4.9bn contract has been a awarded in December to a consortium of builders, comprising of Murray and Roberts of South Africa, Leighton of Australia, Dubai's Al Habtoor Engineering and Takenaka of Japan. The consortium has announced pulling out of the project after agreements failed with the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation.
