Al-Jaber to build city infrastructure

The local Al-Jaber Group has been awarded the AED 416 million ($113 million) infrastructure contract for Industrial City of Abu Dhabi 3.
The local Al-Jaber Group has been awarded the AED 416 million ($113 million) infrastructure contract for Industrial City of Abu Dhabi 3.

The 15-month contract involves the construction and installation of roads, drainage and other utilities for

the 14-square-kilometre industrial area.

The Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones (Zonescorp) is the client.

Al-Jaber is also working on the infrastructure contract for Al-Ain Industrial City (MEED 9:6:06).

The cities are part of a series of major developments in the emirate by Zonescorp.

In May, it signed an agreement with local real estate developer Aldar Properties to build a AED 500 million ($136 million), 16,000-worker capacity, residential city in Al-Ain industrial city (MEED 11:05:07).
