Al-Naboodah Laing O’Rourke starts work on Al-Dubawi

Al-Naboodah Laing O’Rourke has started work on the estimated AED1bn ($273m) Al-Dubawi resort project in Dubai.

The local/UK contracting company is providing preconstruction services and has started work on some of the project’s construction packages.

The resort will be built on the southwestern island and is understood to include about 50 holiday villas, a small hotel, a spa and shops.

The UK's EC Harris is the project manager. Local developer Zabeel Properties is the client (MEED 3:8:07).
