Al-Redwan set to win economic city contract

The local Al-Redwan Contracting Company is expected to be awarded a SR450m ($120m) contract for 150 villas in King Abdullah Economic City.

A letter of intent has been received by the company from the city’s developer Emaar and documents are being finalised, with construction expected to begin in August.

The contract will require the construction of 150 villas in an area of the city known as Resort Cove.

The duration of the project is expected to be 18 months.

No consultant has yet been announced to work on the project.
