The 13-storey tower will be located in Dubai Sports City.
Work is to begin in March and is scheduled for completion in 18 months.
Local property developer Memon Investments is the client. UAE-based Adnan Saffarini Engineering Consultants is the architect and project consultant.
The announcement follows the completion of shoring, initial excavation and foundation work on the AED110m tower, by Stromek Emirates Foundation (SEF), a subsidiary of M’sharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments.
In September 2007, ground breaking took place for the 15-storey, AED145m ($39m) Champions Tower 3, also in Dubai Sports City.
