Alafco posts KD7.7m profit

Kuwait-based Aviation Lease and Finance Company (Alafco) has reported a 37% increase in its profits, reaching KD7.7m in nine months, for the fiscal year which started on 1 October 2007. Alafco has orders for 66 new Airbus and Boeing aircraft with a total value of $9bn. The company currently has aircraft lease agreements with Wataniya and Oman Air.
