Local developer Aldar Properties has invited companies to express interest in a contract to build an estimated AED850m ($239m) retail and community centre at its Al-Falah villas development in Abu Dhabi emirate.
Tender documents for the two-year contract are expected to be issued in late September, with a closing date in mid-October and an award in early November.
Malaysia's SPK-Sentosa Corporation was awarded the AED2.65bn contract to build the residential component of the development in June. The three-year contract involves the construction of 2,080 villas and community facilities (MEED 23:6:08).
