Sonelgaz subsidiary plans construction of gas turbines at Batna and F’Kirina
Algeria’s La Compagnie de l’Engineering de l’Electricité et du Gaz (Ceeg), a subsidiary of state utility Sonelgaz, has issued a tender for the construction of two new power plants.
The tender covers the construction of two gas turbine plants in the east of the country - at Ain Djasser in the Batna region and at F’Kirina in the Oum al-Bouaghi region.
The plants will have total capacity of 500-600MW.
The deadline for technical bids is 26 October. Ceeg will then invite the technically qualified bidders to submit commercial offers.
The successful bidder will design, engineer and manufacture equipment for the projects as well as carry out civil work.
