Andrew Horne

Biography: Andrew Horne is the general manager of Xerox Emirates, a joint venture of the US’ Xerox and the UAE’s Mohamed Hareb al-Otaiba Group.

Prior to joining Xerox Emirates, Horne was vice-president of business transformation for Xerox Developing Markets Operations (DMO) Regions East. In this role, he managed transformational projects in Eastern and Central Europe.

Horne recently completed a seven-year assignment as managing director of Xerox India and as regional general manager of Xerox South Asia.

He first joined Xerox in 1992 as the indirect channel development manager for Eastern Europe and Russia. Horne then held a variety of regional marketing and Channels Group leadership roles, based in Hungary and Russia. He moved to India following a three-year assignment as managing director of Xerox Egypt. 

Horne studied computing, accountancy and management in London and held an HM Commission with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards from 1978-84.
