Apple posts 15% profit increase

Apple has posted a Q2 profit increase of 15%, fuelled by sales of its iPhone and iPod products, although sales of its Mac computers fell slightly. Net profits for the three months to March 28 increased to $1.21bn, from $1.05bn the year before, with revenues up by nearly 9% to $8.16bn. Steve jobs is expected to return to the group in June.
