Tandem compound, double flow LP, single reheat extract, 3,000 rpm steam turbine.

Air cooled, 50 Hz, 15 kV, 160 MVA generator.

Double pass condenser

B.O.P.

Complete mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and Control Balance of Plant, including No. 1 desalination unit of 1100 m3 /day and No. 1 hydraulic recovery turbine.

Combustion Engineering (Italy) - Boiler supply.

Fifth unit: $70 million

Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC) - Civil Works. Value $59 million.

Industrial Export (Romania) - Oil storage tanks. Value $6 million

Rolls Royce (UK) - Upgrade of Aqaba substation to connect with Egypt and northern Jordan. Value $55 million.

Consultants - Merz & McLellan Consulting Engineers (UK), part of Parsons Brinckerhoff Company (US)

Alcatel Kabel Norge - Four subsea 400-kV cables to Jordanian and Egyptian grids. Value: $62 million (this is a separate project)

Overseas Economic Co-operation Fund (Japan): Boilers and turbines for Aqaba 2.

Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development (AFESD): Civil works and oil tanks, third turbine, grid connection
