Firm will build two 45-floor structures in West Bay area of Doha
The local/UAE Arabtec Construction Company has won a $190m contract to build the Bridge Towers project in Qatar.
Arabtec will build one office tower and one hotel tower in Doha’s West Bay area. The two buildings are both 45 floors high with two basement levels and a three-level podium.
The deal covers structural, civil, electro-mechanical and external works. The project duration is 30 months.
Arabtec Construction Company is a joint venture between UAE-based Arabtec Holding and the local Nasser bin Khaled al-Thani & Sons Holding Company.
In December 2006, Arabtec won a $1.37bn contract to build the Al-Waab City development from Nasser bin Khalid al-Thani & Sons (MEED 15:12:06).
