Acquisition strategy covers Africa and Asia
Fadi Ghandour CEO of Dubai-based Aramex has said the firm plans to carry out a number of acquisitions by the end of 2010 as part of its expansion plans, Bloomberg has reported. “We are continuing in our acquisition strategy in Africa and Asia,” Ghandour said. “We will before the end of the year announce a couple of acquisitions in Africa. They will be our entry into key markets over there.” In addition to its base in the UAE, Aramex has a presence in Europe, India, Singapore and Hong Kong.
