Contractors now have until 29 June to submit bids for works on Najma Road
Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashgal) has extended the submission date for a contract for construction works on the Najma road in Doha until 29 June.
Contractors now have until 26 June to submit bids for the deal, which has a bid bond of QR17m ($4.7m).
The original submission date for the work was 18 May.
The project will involve the reconstruction of the Najma Road extension from its junction with the E ring road to just before the F ring road. The works also include the construction of surrounding main and internal roads.
The winning contractor will also have to re-design and build the adjoining road E01.
Ashgal also recently invited contractors to bid for a contract to build peripheral roads around its Barwa City development in Doha.
Contractors have until 8 June to submit bids for the deal, which has a bid bond of QR15m (MEED 12:5:10).
