Ashghal seeks key personnel for healthcare projects

14 July 2014

Schemes will be delivered over the next three years

Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has invited firms to prequalify for contracts to provide project and construction management consultancy services on selected healthcare projects in Qatar over the next three years.

As well as construction and project management, the scope of services includes design management, constructability reviews, commercial management, contract administration, and project controls. The deadline for submitting prequalification documents to Ashghal is 22 July.

In May, Ashghal invited companies to prequalify for a contract to provide project and construction management consultancy services for a new medical city. The new facility, which will include a 1,100 bed trauma mass casualty hospital, is to be built next to Qatar University. The project is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2015, with completion set for 2022.
