The award for a construction contract at King Abdulaziz University is expected by mid-July.
The contract is for one building at the university in Jeddah and has a project value of SR250m ($67m).
According to a bidder on the project, it will be an open bid, with the results expected the same day.
The Ministry of Education is the client.
Bids have also been submitted for construction work at Al-Imam Mohamed ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.
The contract covers the construction of a women’s college and an adjacent car park. The value of the project is estimated at SR400m. The Ministry of Education is also the client on this project (MEED 14:5:08).
