Local company to establish new storage hub on east coast of the UAE
UAE-based Middle East Tanking Solutions is preparing to award the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract on a new petrochemicals storage tank terminal and jetty pipelines in Fujairah.
The contract, which was tendered in 2013, is expected to be awarded by the end of January.
The project will be located at the port of Fujairah on the east coast of the UAE, which is a growing hub for the storage of crude and oil products.
The scope of the project covers a new petrochemical storage tank terminal, four kilometres of jetty pipeline and associated facilities.
Sharjah-based MUC Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy carried out the front-end engineering and design (feed) work and was awarded the project management consultancy (PMC) contract on the scheme.
