Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (Adco) has further extended the deadline for companies to submit prices on its estimated $2bn Bab Integrated Facilities Expansion project.

Companies have been asked to submit commercial engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) bids on 18 June, almost three weeks later than the previous deadline of 30 May, according to regional projects tracker MEED Projects.

Adco retendered the Bab Integrated Facilities Expansion scheme on 22 December, a year after cancelling a previous tender on the project. The new tender is understood to have a reduced scope of works and the estimated budget has been reduced from $3bn to about $2bn, sources told MEED.

Technical EPC bids were submitted on 14 March.
