Investcorp's $99m German office campus acquisition is part of its broader pan-European real estate strategy

Investcorp has made its second real estate investment in Germany.

The Manama-headquartered alternative investment firm has purchased KO Campus in Eschborn from Germany's Cilon for about €86m ($99m).

The newly renovated property is a modern office campus situated prominently in the commercial area of Eschborn, part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area. It comprises three office buildings totalling about 40,000 square metres, and houses tenants across a diverse set of sectors, including manufacturing, retail and technology.

In April 2018, Investcorp announced its first German real estate deal. Together with Continuum Capital Investment Management GmbH, Investcorp purchased the Burocampus Wangen based in Stuttgart.

The German investments are part of Investcorp’s broader pan-European real estate strategy, following its initial focus on UK industrial and logistics assets.
