Twelve bids have been submitted for residential construction work in Bahrain.
The scope covers the construction of 99 townhouses in the Wadi al-Sale region of the kingdom.
Those that bid included Al-Shaheen Contracting, Al-Khalida Contracting and Olympic Contract - all local.
Al-Zayani Trading is the low bidder with BD10.2m ($27m), followed by Al-Hedaya Contracting. Dar al-Khaleej is the high bidder with BD13.4m
The Ministry of Housing is the client.
The Ministry also issued tenders for another residential construction project in the same region. The scope is for 152 houses.
Again, 12 bids have been submitted. The local Aradous Contracting is the low bidder for the work, with BD7.1m.
