Bahrains human rights minister touts progress in protecting human rights
Bahrain has deployed great efforts to achieve UN goals in protecting and reinforcing human rights over the past few years, the countrys Minister of Human Rights Salah bin Ali Abdulrahma said this week at a meeting with GCC ambassadors in South Korea.
Abdulrahman said the political and human rights progress that has been made is part of the democratic transformation that has taken place in the country since the launch of reforms in 2001. The focus is now on settling all pending issues, as the common goal is to move forward with the development and reform progress, he said.
