Programme will not impact on local or international commitments
The Bahrain Petroleum Companys (Bapco) refinery at Sitra is undergoing a six-week maintenance shut-down that started on 9 April and will be concluded on 17 May.
The complex is one of the regions oldest working refineries and work will include maintenance to several process units as well as detailed reliability testing. Bapco has stated that the shutdown will not impact any local or international commitments for its products.
