Bapco undergoes maintenance shut-down

Programme will not impact on local or international commitments

The Bahrain Petroleum Company’s (Bapco) refinery at Sitra is undergoing a six-week maintenance shut-down that started on 9 April and will be concluded on 17 May.

The complex is one of the region’s oldest working refineries and work will include maintenance to several process units as well as detailed reliability testing. Bapco has stated that the shutdown will not impact any local or international commitments for its products.
