Saudi startup secures $2.4m funding
WeDeliver uses an app to connect businesses with freelance drivers
Saudi Arabia-based startup, WeDeliver, has secured a $2.4m pre-seed funding just over a year after it began operations.
It is understood to be the largest pre-seed round for a Saudi startup.
The firm uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and a mobile application to connect businesses that have parcels to be delivered with freelancer drivers.
“Our business is meeting the region’s needs for quick deliveries, which surged during the pandemic,” says WeDeliver’s CEO and co-founder, Ahmed Ramala Ramahi, formerly operations manager at UAE-based Careem. Read more here
