The local Belhasa Engineering & Contracting has been awarded two major construction packages on two residential projects in Dubai. In Dubai Marina, it has won the main construction package for three towers and has been selected for a fourth. In the Al-Nahda area, it has been awarded the main construction package on a twin-tower project behind Sahara Mall.
At the marina, Belhasahas been awarded the main construction package for Marina Diamond 3, Marina Diamond 4 and Marina Diamond 5. It has also been selected for Marina Diamond 6. The local Stromek Emirates Foundationshas completed the piling, shoring, excavation and dewatering for Marina Diamond 3 and is working on Marina Diamond 4, 5 and 6. Belhasa is also working on Marina Diamond 1. The local Sun Engineeringis working on Marina Diamond 2. The local Al-Ajmiis the architect. The client is local property developer Diamond Investments. In Al-Nahda, Belhasa has been awarded the AED 150 million ($41 million) contract to build a 12-storey twin-tower residential development. The UK's Holford Associatesis the consultant. The local Easa Saleh al-Gurg Groupis the client.
